Garlic Parmesan Fries

These Garlic Parmesan Fries come together so easily and are utterly addictive! Cheesy, savory and perfect for dipping. Whip up a batch for an easy snack or game day treat!

  • 16 ounces frozen shoestring fries 1 bag
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter ¼ stick
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
  • teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese divided
  • 2 tablespoons fresh minced parsley

Instructions

  • Bake the fries according to package instructions.

  • While the fries are baking, melt the butter and garlic in a medium saucepan set over low heat.

  • Once the butter begins to gently simmer, cook the garlic until slightly toasted, about 90 seconds. Add in the garlic salt, pepper, cayenne, and 2 tablespoons of the Parmesan cheese. Heat just until the cheese is melted. Stir well to combine.

  • Once the fries are crispy, remove from the oven and pour the butter mixture over the fries, tossing well to coat.

  • Transfer the fries to a serving platter and sprinkle them with the remaining parmesan cheese and parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can use homemade french fries if you prefer.
  • To air fry, follow the instructions on the bag OR set air fryer to 400°F and fry for 20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  • If you don't have garlic salt, you can make your own using a ratio of 3 parts kosher salt to 1 part garlic powder.
  • Feel free to change up the seasonings to suit your tastes.
Storage: Store garlic parmesan fries in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 day.
