For the Brown Sugar Syrup
For the Shaken Espresso
- 1 shot espresso or strongly brewed coffee
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar syrup or to taste
- ¾ cup unsweetened oat milk
For the Brown Sugar Syrup
Combine the water, brown sugar, and cinnamon stick in a small saucepan set over medium heat.
½ cup water, ½ cup brown sugar, 1 cinnamon stick
Bring the mixture to a boil and cook until the sugar has dissolved.
Remove from the heat, add the vanilla, and cover to steep for 15 minutes.

To store, remove the cinnamon stick, transfer to an airtight container, and refrigerate for up to 7 days.
For the Shaken Espresso
