Garlic Cheesy Cornbread Drop Biscuits

This easy cornbread recipe can be made in no time with the help of cornbread mix and a few extra ingredients!

- 3 cups cornbread mix 482 grams (2 (8.5-ounce) boxes)
- 1 cup freshly shredded cheddar cheese 227 grams
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ⅔ cups milk* 151 grams
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter 42 grams, melted (⅜ stick)
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley 2 grams
- Sea salt for sprinkling
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine the cornbread mix, cheese, and garlic powder.
3 cups cornbread mix, 1 cup freshly shredded cheddar cheese, ½ teaspoon garlic powder
Add milk and stir just until incorporated.

Drop by heaping tablespoons onto prepared baking sheet.
Brush biscuits with melted butter, dried parsley and a scant sprinkling of salt.

Bake 13-15 minutes or until golden brown on the bottom.
Remove from oven. Serve immediately or transfer to cooling rack until ready to serve.
- Note: Do not prepare the cornbread mix according to the instructions on the box. Use it as a dry ingredient in the recipe. There is not an egg in this recipe!
- Depending on the brand of cornbread mix used, you may need to increase the milk to 1 cup.
