What’s in This Iced Honey Almondmilk Flat White Recipe?

  • Coffee: Use your favorite coffee for this recipe. I prefer a freshly brewed espresso, but instant or even decaf can be used.
  • Honey: Adds a subtle floral sweetness to the drink. I prefer natural or raw honey, which has a richer flavor and more health benefits. If you don’t have honey, you can use another liquid sweetener like maple syrup or stevia.
  • Almond Milk: Adds nuttiness and creaminess to the drink. I prefer unsweetened since the honey is already adding plenty of sweetness to this drink. Dairy or oat milk also work well in this recipe.

Tips for Success

  • Because this coffee contains honey, it is not vegan, but you can simply swap the honey for maple syrup to make it totally plant-based.
  • A milk frother will provide the best results, but you can also use a French press– just add the almond milk and quickly pull the plunger up and down for 30 seconds. You can froth milk by hand with a whisk, but it will take a little while longer, and it’s a bit of extra arm work!
  • You can also add un-frothed milk to the top of your flat white and it will still be delicious!
