A frozen peach margarita is exactly what I need on a hot day. Using actual peaches instead of peach-flavored alcohol really brought this drink to the next level, and they made it so thick and creamy like a smoothie. It’s a great drink for Cinco de Mayo or parties, too!
What’s in This Frozen Peach Margarita Recipe?
- Peaches: Frozen peaches work great for this frozen margarita, but you can substitute fresh peaches as well. If you do use fresh, add an extra ½ cup of peaches, and an extra ¾ cup of ice.
- Tequila: I prefer blanco or silver tequila for these margaritas, but feel free to use your favorite.
- Triple Sec: Adds fresh orange flavor to the margaritas.
- Honey: Adds a touch of floral sweetness. Agave syrup also works well.
- Lime Juice: Adds a touch of acidity and fresh lime flavor.
Tips for Success
- Frozen peaches make the best consistency for blending.
- Crushed ice or small cubes will be the easiest to blend.
Serving Suggestions

- ¾ cup tequila
- ½ cup triple sec
- ¼ cup honey or agave syrup
- ⅔ cup fresh lime juice
- 2½ cups ice
