- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
For the Sauce
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup orange juice
- ¼ cup rice vinegar
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 (1-inch piece) fresh ginger minced
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.

- In a separate bowl, whisk the honey sauce ingredients together and set aside.½ cup honey, ¼ cup orange juice, ¼ cup rice vinegar, ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 2 teaspoons sesame oil, 3 cloves garlic, 1 (1-inch piece) fresh ginger, ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- Heat the oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.¼ cup vegetable oil
- Once heated, add in the chicken pieces, and pan fry on each side until browned. Fry in batches if needed to not overcrowd the pan.
- Add the honey sauce mixture to the skillet and coat the chicken in the sauce.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through to 165°F.
