Notes from the Test Kitchen

Ripe bananas develop a warm and sweet flavor, almost reminiscent of rum. The riper they are, the sweeter your bread will be. We love the slightly bitter contrast that semisweet chocolate chips bring to this bread, keeping it balanced in flavor and perfect for both breakfast and dessert.
