This birthday cake martini is my favorite way to celebrate my birthday! It’s fun, flirty, and tastes just like homemade funfetti cake. I rimmed the glasses with sprinkles, and it created such a fun and colorful effect! I think this would be the perfect drink to celebrate turning 21 for the first– or 10th– time!

My birthday is in August, but is it really ever too early to celebrate? I’ve always been a person who loves half-birthdays…as well as quarter-birthdays…daily-birthdays…always room for a celebration! Fun, festive, colorful, and of course delicious! This cute birthday cake martini is perfect for any adult bday party…Cheers!

What’s in This Birthday Cake Martini Recipe?

  • Wedding Cake Vodka: I used Pearl brand, but any kind will do. Regular cake vodka or vanilla would also work well, or you can use plain.
  • White Chocolate Liqueur: Adds creaminess and sweetness to the drink. I think it tastes just like frosting!
  • Half-and-Half: Makes the drink extra rich and creamy.
  • White Creme de Cacao: Adds delicious chocolatey flavor without the color. You can also use clear creme de cacao.
  • Amaretto: Adds a delightful almondy flavor that’s classic in funfetti cake.

Tips for Success

  • Stir don’t shake! This is an alcohol-forward cocktail that shouldn’t be shaken with ice, which can dilute the flavors. Stir it for a rounded and silky flavor.
  • Enjoy and drink responsibly – these martinis pack a punch!

I haven’t had a martini in ages. I think I stopped drinking them before cake batter became a thing. So I’ll definitely have to get hip and give this one a whirl. I’ll celebrate my 1/4 birthday. ;)
