I absolutely love anything apple pie in the Fall. It’s simply a must make flavor profile that I can’t get enough of! This cocktail is on repeat at our house as soon as the weather turns cool.
What’s in Apple Cider Punch
This recipe tastes great with or without alcohol, so you can make it to fit the occasion. Talk about a crowd pleaser!
- Apple: Use your favorite apple – just be sure to slice it.
- Apple Cider: Buy it at the store or make your own! I have recipes for both Crockpot apple cider AND Instant Pot apple cider.
- Pear Nectar: You should be able to find this in the juice aisle of your local grocery store. It adds the best fruity touch of sweetness!
- Ginger Ale: This adds a delicious sparkling element.
- Apple Pie Vodka: If you can’t find this, no worries! Just swap it with caramel vodka.
PRO TIP: If you’re looking to liven up your holiday this year, just splash a little Apple Pie Vodka in your glass. You guys…this vodka. I am NOT a shot girl, but that vodka is AMAZING.
What type of apple works best in this drink?
You can use pretty much any type of apple in this drink. Depending on your preferences, here are some ideas:
- Tart: Granny Smith, Macintosh, Pink Lady apples
- In-between: Gala, Jazz, Delicious
- Sweet: Honeycrisp, Fuji, Envy
Sure thing! Mix most of the ingredients and refrigerate until you’re ready to serve. Just save the ice and ginger ale for serving time. The ice will melt and water down the drink, and the ginger ale could lose its fizz.
Nope! Although it’s an apple pie inspired drink, this recipe calls for fresh apples only.
Check your local liquor store! If you’re struggling to find some, consider making my favorite apple pie vodka recipe (it’s super quick and easy). You can always replace it with caramel vodka if needed.
Serving Suggestions
If you’re serving this apple pie drink at parties or when you have a few friends around, then you’ll need some nibbles to serve it with.

I plan on trying the non-alcoholic Apple Pie Punch for Thanksgiving. Should I chill the ingredients before mixing?
Thank you Becky, that is what I will do. Also, thank you for your quick response. Happy Thanksgiving to you also and I will le you know how everyone liked it. :)
Has anyone tried to make this lower calorie by substituting seltzer for some or all of the ginger ale?
I am going to serve this at our Thanksgiving meal, non-alcoholic version. Do the ingredients need to be chilled before mixing together?
This was so good! A friend had brought fireball (the cinnamon whiskey) so we added some of that and it was absolutely delicious! Gave it an extra kick and the cinnamon goes so well with apples.
Can you use apple vodka or Carmel apple vodka? I can’t find apple pie vodka
Just curious how many servings this recipe makes? The nonalcoholic version. It looks delicious! But wondering how much to make for about 15 people.

I love reading your take on things! Its how I know if I will want to make it and ideas on how to serve it, I am soooo not creative when it comes to serving things I am lucky if I use real glasses instead of solo cups haha! It is a nice way to be inspired to change things up ;)

With You!
yummy and delicious drink..
I am very excited to make this! My dad and stepmom asked me to bring a spiked dessert to thanksgiving dinner, and I thought I would make this to go with! I am so excited, because I can make it non-alcoholic, I can also take it to my husband’s parents’ house (they don’t drink). This is going to be so yummy!
