These crockpot teriyaki meatballs are one of my favorite easy game-day appetizers. They melt in your mouth and are coated in the most delicious blend of pineapple and teriyaki sauce. This hands-off recipe makes party prep so easy with just 4 simple ingredients. I make these yummy meatballs every Super Bowl!

With just 4 ingredients and hands-off cooking, these crockpot teriyaki meatballs are heaven-sent! I used frozen meatballs, bottled teriyaki sauce, and canned pineapple to make prep as easy as dump-and-go. The sauce gets nice and thick and sticky, and the meatballs are gloriously tender. This one’s a real crowd-pleaser!

What’s in This Crockpot Teriyaki Meatballs Recipe?

  • Frozen Cooked Meatballs: I recommend homestyle or Swedish meatballs, because the sauce is rich and flavorful you don’t want to buy overly seasoned meatballs.
  • Teriyaki Sauce: Also sometimes called teriyaki marinade and sauce, this delicious liquid adds tons of classic Asian flavor to these meatballs. Salty, sweet, umami… this sauce has it all!
  • Pineapple Tidbits: Add a pop of acidity and fruity flavor.
  • Chili Garlic Sauce: Adds a touch of spice. Sriracha also works well.

Tips for Success

  • Be sure to drain the pineapple chunks before adding them to the pot.
  • Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • Garnish with some chopped scallions for a pop of color and some sesame seeds for crunch!

How to Store and Reheat

Store leftover crockpot teriyaki meatballs wrapped in aluminum foil in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in a pot set over medium-low heat, stirring often, until warmed through.

These juicy teriyaki meatballs are one of my favorite standalone game day appetizers, but they also make a great easy weeknight meal. I like them with mashed potatoes or rice and some sauteed veggies.

Hi Gabby, We’re sorry to hear you didn’t love this recipe! We recommend trying a low-sodium teriyaki marinade next time if you’re sensitive to salt!

So where does the chili garlic sauce come into play? I presume with everything that goes in the Crock-Pot it just doesn’t say….

sounds promising, taste afterwards ok too.
but spending 4 hours on pathetic meatballs.
It just doesn’t worth it.
Meatballs are not going to turn into a pumpkin or something very special.
Nice try though ))3 stars

These were an extra, added bonus to my main course of chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Not everyone wants pasta so this was a great second option. Not a main meal, of course.5 stars

Wow, that’s brutal. You use a crockpot. You shouldn’t be standing there waiting for the recipe to end. This is perfect for a work potluck.5 stars
