So simple and easy, you have to try this magic cotton candy drink! It’s such a fun Halloween drink for kiddos, and it’s super easy to turn into a martini for the adults. My cotton candy cocktail is made with just 3 ingredients (2 if you’re making the mocktail version!) and is sure to wow both kids and adults. So get to pouring and watch the magic happen!

There’s nothing more fun on Halloween than a funky drink recipe, and this cotton candy drink really fits the bill. Pouring grape juice over cotton candy creates such a fun melting effect. I added vanilla vodka to my drink to make it fun for the adults, but this is a great cocktail or mocktail! I gave everyone a martini glass filled with cotton candy and a small glass of grape juice so they could see the magic in real time… it was such a hit!

What’s in This Cotton Candy Drink Recipe?

  • Grape Juice: Creates a beautiful deep purple color and adds a deliciously sweet flavor.
  • Vanilla Vodka: While optional, when making this drink for adults, I like to add vodka. Vanilla is my favorite, but whipped cream or plain also work well.
  • Cotton Candy: Creates the magic of this drink!

Tips for Success

  • I like to use a mixed-colored cotton candy, but you can use any color you like.
  • I used grape juice for the purple color, but you can use whatever juice you love best! You could even do some with orange juice and some purple and really overachieve for Halloween! I’d be impressed with that!

Serving Suggestions

I love to serve this magic cotton candy drink on Halloween with other festive treats, like graveyard cupcakes, Oreo spiders, or caramel apples. Talk about a sugar rush!

Hi Christina, for a kid-friendly version, you just leave out the vodka!
